🌙 ABSoc Charity Challenge – This Holy Month of Ramadan, We Lead Together

The holy month of Ramadan is a month of reflection, mercy, and generosity. But it is also a month of renewal.

A renewal of our faith.
A renewal of our intentions.
A renewal of our commitment to serving others for the sake of Allah.

As an ABSoc, we believe the holy month of Ramadan is not just a time to give - it is a time to step forward and lead.

🚀 Introducing Our ABSoc Charity Challenge

This Ramadan, we are proud to be taking part in the national ABSoc Charity Challenge in support of Imam Hussein Charity.

Universities across the UK are coming together in a friendly competition to see which ABSoc can raise the most funds for those in need.

And we want to lead from the front!
Each of us can create our own fundraising page under our ABSoc team. By sharing it with friends, family, and our wider community, we can collectively make a powerful impact.

There will be a live leaderboard throughout the holy month of Ramadan - so every donation counts.

🏆 At the end of Ramadan, the ABSoc that raises the most will receive a grant/bursary to help us continue promoting the message of Ahlulbayt on campus.
🎖️ Every single participant will receive a trophy to recognise their effort and dedication.

🌍 What We’re Raising For

Together, we will be supporting:

💧 Clean water projects and water wells for communities facing daily water scarcity
🍽️ Iftar meals and essential food aid for vulnerable families
🦿 Prosthetic limbs and rehabilitation for children and adults affected by conflict in places like Iraq and Gaza
📚 Access to education in Africa, helping children build brighter futures
👶 Orphan support, providing care, stability, and hope

Every page created becomes a source of ongoing sadaqah jariyah - multiplying reward while delivering real, life-changing support.
